Market research pinpointed three prominent peer-to-peer marketplaces dominating the New Zealand fashion scene, particularly among young women. This demographic became the cornerstone of ReShopMe's revenue model, aiming to eliminate friction points and enhance the online user experience.
Crucially, ReShopMe places environmental sustainability at its core. Co-founder Charlotte Loftus emphasizes the fashion industry's impact on the environment, citing alarming statistics such as the 2,700 liters of water needed to produce a single T-shirt.
