Help Centre / Your account and security
Your account is the key to your orders, your listings and — if you sell — your money. Here's what protects it, and what to do when something's off.
Signing in keeps you signed in for up to a week per device; signing out kills that device's session immediately, not eventually. If you suspect someone else has your password, change it — and if you believe your account is being used by someone else, contact support and we can sign the account out of every device at once.
An authenticator-app code alongside your password. Anyone can turn it on; it's required for accounts that hold real leverage — sellers with payouts set up, and anyone whose likeness is used in Studio tools. When you enrol you get recovery codes: store them somewhere real. They are the intended way back in if you lose your phone; a support reset exists but is deliberately a last resort, because two-factor that support removes on request is barely two-factor at all.
Security emails — password changes, sign-outs, two-factor changes — are always sent, and can't be switched off. Everything else (order updates, live event reminders, marketing) is yours to tune in your notification settings. If a security email arrives about something you didn't do, act on it immediately.
An account untouched for 24 months is closed under our Privacy Policy — with three emailed warnings first, at 21, 22 and 23 months, and any sign-in resets the clock. If you hold credit, the balance is treated as money owed to you, not forfeited; the policy has the details.
