How selling works

Photograph the piece honestly, write it up, set your price — the minimum is NZ$15 — and enter the parcel's packed weight and dimensions. You don't set shipping fees: live courier rates are calculated at the buyer's checkout from your location to theirs. Prefer to hand the parcel over the counter yourself? Tick "shipping included", price it in, and you'll post it with your own prepaid postage.

Courier rates are calculated from your address, so it has to be one couriers recognise — we check it when you save it, and a listing can't quote shipping without it. If buyers ever see "couldn't calculate shipping" on your listings, your ship-from address is the first thing to fix.

New listings are reviewed before they appear for sale — usually quickly. Check the Prohibited Items Policy before listing anything you're unsure about; counterfeits and unsafe goods never pass.

You're emailed the moment an order lands. For courier-collected parcels the label arrives by email — print it, attach it, hand it over. For shipping-included sales, post it and add the tracking number from your receipt on your Tracking page so the buyer can follow it. Either way, pack well: damage in transit is insured, but a well-packed parcel never needs the insurance.
